MICHAEL FEINSTEIN
The Ambassador of the Great American Songbook

THURSDAY, OCTOBER 14, 2010

For the past 23 years St. Cecilia Music Center has hosted some of the world’s most celebrated musicians at our Annual Great Artist Gala. This event was inaugurated in 1987 when Itzhak Perlman appeared in Royce Auditorium. Since that time, the list of Great Artists who have been presented reads like a who’s who in the musical world. The proceeds from this annual fundraising event benefit St. Cecilia Music Center, its presenting series, School of Music and landmark home. St. Cecilia Great Artist Gala is a benefit event for the Center. This elegant “black-tie option” evening is complete with a pre-concert lavish reception, a great performance by a world-class musician and a post-concert Meet-the-Artist reception.
