Music: Up Close and Personal

Dedicated instructors, a carefully designed curriculum, a world-class auditorium and a 127-year-old tradition of musical excellence provide a unique and satisfying educational experience for music students of all ages, abilities, backgrounds and financial circumstances.

Students work to improve their playing and sight-reading techniques, learn how to feel the music rather than play by rote, and enjoy the benefits of teamwork and camaraderie with others from around the region.

A vital force throughout West Michigan, St. Cecilia Music Center’s School of Music serves more than 800 students with approximately 23,000 hoursof instruction annnually and provides the environment and programs that foster collaboration and commitment and create enriching opportunities for making and appreciating music.
